W South Beach Hotel & Residences sets the tone for Miami Beach’s most fashionable week

MIAMI BEACH (July 6, 2015) – Internationally renowned fashion label Lacoste™ will bring their yachting inspired collection to opening night of SWIMMIAMI 2016 sponsored by Planet Fashion TV. The chic poolside celebration will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015 at W South Beach Hotel & Residences to open up four days of runway shows from fashion’s biggest swimwear designers for SWIMMIAMI 2016 presented by smartwater® and W Hotels Worldwide.

The program is slated to include a performance from recording artist and icon Julio Iglesias Jr. as well as a runway presentation by Lacoste™.

The much-anticipated evening will feature a VIP cocktail reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lawn, with décor by Paul Sokolski from Designs of the Future, LLC followed by a larger celebration and fashion show from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at WET.

Firmly anchored in French heritage, the Lacoste fashion presentation will feature chic and sporty silhouettes inspired by the sailing and yachting worlds.

Charli Girls purveyors of handcrafted jewelry accessories who live by the credo, ‘life perfected, fashion remixed’ will complement the informal modeling of virgin lace resort wear by Ibiza’s own Piluca Bayarri.’ VIP Cocktails will be provided by 49th Parallel gluten free Vodka from Pangea Wine and Spirits. Wines will be presented by Four Vines Naked Chardonnay and Cryptic Red Blend from Purple Wine and Spirits.
