July 5, 2018/SoBe, Florida The 2nd Annual SWIM THE GLOBE, July 12-15 situated at the National Hotel Miami Beach – An Ocean Front Resort, 1677 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139 is one of the most anticipated events on the annual Swim Week’s Official Calendar. 

STG debuts with a Charity Gala on Thursday, July 12; benefiting Blue Mission’s mandate to connect global communities with clean water & sanitation.  Situated throughout the regally remodeled National Hotel Miami Beach – Ocean Front Resort, is a non-stop schedule of solo and group Runway Shows showcasing 2019’s  seasonal collections by emerging , established and celebrity designers and a roster of headline entertainment.

A diverse schedule of entertainment meets commerce at Swim the Globe.  Show Director, Jennifer Sclafani and Executive Producer Jeffrey Lubin have confirmed highlights that feature  continuous tented runway shows for an audience of fashion buyers, influencers, media leaders and fashion forward trend setters throughout the week.

The swimwear, resort and lingerie collections span the globe and are inspired by (or) originate from Brazil (Guria Beachwear and Bojo’Mens ), Colombia’s (Maylana and PintArena) and India’s  (Amita Naithani).  Chuck Handy III is co- producing a one hour runway show with Nora Swim, Fyn Swim. Talent is provided by Miami Model Citizens. 

All roads lead to New York City with Brittany Harris’ Voyage Swimwear.  with original fabric designs that incorporate maps of the plane ‘s most desirable destinations.  Could a cotton map of the Philippine paradise Borakay Beach Club be in the works? Representatives of Kama Beach Club in Boracay , Philippines are hosting Friday, July 13th a celebrity driven, invitation-only glam jam. Among the presenting artists areDavid Sabastian, Shawn Koldny, Carmen Roze and Rachell Harris presented  by Scott Weissman and Angelica Torres.

The world acclaimed Sean Donaldson Hair at the new Brickell Center returns for an encore to showcase the latest trends in hair and makeup.  John Casablanca is featuring their new stable of models that will undoubtedly grace runways throughout the world.  The Basil Beauty Bar & Lounge Pop-up shops framing the 223′ Infinity pool are an Island Time with CBD.  Each souk-style cabana will gift guests with instant makeovers by Benily Spa, specialists  in stem cell applications, mini face lifts and  lash extensions to be named.

Replace the martini glasses and snifters.  Order instead, your favorite liquor and fresh fruit on a popsicle stick by Yummii Frozen Cocktail Bars.  A mix of all natural tropical ingredients the Mango Summer with Jack Daniel’s Whisky or  Strawberita a fusion with mint and lime and a blast of tequila will be making a first time ever appearance at SWIM THE GLOBE!

Mega Way, Vegan CBD infused protein shakes will be presented by acclaimed restaurateur Charlotte Barron for a mid way  show pick-me-up.  Pure Brazilian Coconut Water distributed by PDF Foods – brings a refreshing beverage direct from their sustainable farms in Northern Brazil. Pure Health Alkaline Water pH 9.5, in BPA free biodegradable bottles that are the equivalent of glass.  Together these brews assure STG guests will be refreshed and hydrated.  An assortment of schwag that brags will be on-hand for the asking.

‘Storm the Beach’ celebrating Bastille Day, Saturday – July 14, is sure to please French  purists and Francophile s ; especially given the venue is solely-owned by French proprietors.  The wood paneled and beveled mirrored lounge ,restored to its original grandeur, channels a scene straight out of ‘Casablanca‘.  Tarani’s Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc comes direct from Sud-Ouest, France by importer Jean Paul Vizier and Lamborghini bubbly from the original estate vintner Mr. Ferruccio Lamborghini will be the events grape of choice.  Swoon and Swing to the sounds of David Attelan and the Magic Vocals at the National Hotel after party from 8:30 pm to the midnight hour.

Sunday, July 15, 1pm – 11:20pm   features an all – day “Poolside Wind Down or Rev it up with top liner DJ’s spectacular wrap party at the National Infinity Pool.  The curators of Hunab Ku Productions; Jacqui Janis and Dylan Pukel will be setting the tone for STG’s Fashionmixta with a deep house, melodic and paradisaical performance by the very special guest DJ George Morel – along with Mystic Bill, Ben Finx, Mau and Decio.  Soiree the day into night with entertainers, vendors and a bohemian vibe created by Miami’s very own Naomi Serret of Vie Boheme Productions.  Powered by the Kalyna Agency and Proper House Music.
